Double Creek Crossing Wedding – Ashley + Matt

The chairs are set, the candles arranged. The flowers have arrived, the decorations in order. Everything is in its place.

It’s time for a wedding.

Maggie and I had a blast shooting Ashley & Matt’s wedding out at Double Creek Crossing in Caldwell, TX. The weather was cool (for a September night in Texas, anyway), there was a total lunar eclipse happening later in the night (a rare super blood moon, to boot), and it was shaping up to be a spectacular evening.

Focus stacking tutorial

I recently picked up a true 1:1 macro lens, the Lester A. Dine 105mm 2.8, and have been experimenting with it endlessly. One thing I discovered about macro photography is that the depth of field is exceptionally shallow, even at the largest (smallest) aperture.
